Italian Car Insurance Empty Italian Car Insurance

I have just found out something I didn't know. If you have Italian car Insurance and either sell you car and not insure another one in your name or cancel your policy more than 30 days before it expires then you lose your no claims bonus (bonus malus). I don't mean that year's I mean ALL of it!!!! Shocked 

Luckily a helpful insurance man stopped me before I made a terrible mistake.
