Mountain tax

I know they have changed the name of this tax but i don't know what they call it now, but my question is has anybody in the Bagni area had a bill? my sister in law has had hers for the village in Bagni she comes from and it was combined with the bill for her house in Viareggio but we have not had any (i don't think we had one last year either)

No we haven't had ours yet either, although that is usual, as they only issue it when the Bill is around or above €20 (when we spoke to them at the offices in Borgo Mozzano) so if the 'White Road/Mountain Tax' was less than €10  they roll it over to the next year and so on until it gets to the amount. so you could wait a couple of years until you receive one. Having said all this don't be surprised if they change the rules, like everything here, nothing can be predicted when it comes to Taxes.
