Tessere Sanitarie

I found out something useful and thought I would pass it on. For those of you who are getting the new Tessere Sanitarie, you have to go to the hospital or to your local pharmacy and have them processed. You will then be given a pin number and this is so you can effect payments directly in hospital when you have a visit or a ticket to pay for services. Without the pin number, you will be charged 100% costs, while with the pin number, there is a reduction in the cost of the tickets. I found out that a lot of my friends didn't know anything about this, so if you haven't processed your card yet, do so.
