Right now, stability is badly needed. Nobody can govern without it.

Stability in Italian Politics ....... surely not !!

Wishful thinking? I'm an optimist by nature. And I do not think that Italy has many choices outside stability. So perhaps politicians are going to put their thinking caps on and do the right think... (anotherpiece of wishful thinking).

It would seem that up to now he has only done whatever Berlusconi wanted him to do. Is it possible for him to change so much? Doubt it...

Too much wishful thinking.  The Buffoon Berlusconi  will now launch FI as an antiEuropean vehicle and force the elections on leaving the euro.  Unfortunately given the average Italians understanding of economics he will probably win, which will be his legacy to the country - having stuffed it completely.  Twice.

It's also interesting many countries now are leaning either to the left or to the right. Whilst, in recent years before the crash we were going on to a 'happy' centre.
