OH is sooooo excited!  His day tomorrow (as I understand it) looks like this (Italian times):

11:30am:  Davis Cup Tennis.  Italy v GB from Napoli.  GB are currently 2-1 up and, if Andy Murray wins, GB will reach it's first semi-final in 33 years.

5:00pm:  The Bahrain F1 Grand Prix.  Can Lewis Hamilton win again?

5:30pm:  Toulon v Leinster.  Heineken Cup rugby.  Jonny Wilkinson head to head against Brian O'Driscoll.

6.55pm:  Oxford v Cambridge boat race.

Although quite how he'll watch 3 events in the afternoon/evening which appear to overlap I'll leave for him to sort out!

And me?  I'll just sit quietly with a glass of vino rosso and dream of George Clooney!  Smile  Smile

OH is almost inconsolable. Sad

GB fail to beat Italy in the Davis Cup.  Sad

Leinster fail to win at Toulon.  Sad

Cambridge fail to beat Oxford in the boat race.  Sad

Luckily Lewis did win the Bahrain Grand Prix which, together with one of my very special G&Ts, has persuaded him that life after all might actually be worth living!  Smile  Smile

Nope!  He was born in Wolverhampton and therefore hasn't followed football since they were relegated from the Premiership in 2012.  He's of a fragile sporting constitution!  Shocked

Luckily for me George Clooney will never be relegated - ever!  Smile  Smile

I just watched the GP (highlights on BBC) and it was a really wonderful race! If you didn't catch it, don't read Ghiro's posts, but catch it on iPlayer.

You left out the best result though: Liverpool 2, London 0.  OH is delighted

Well thanks "C" , but what's with this "London" bit...? Liverpool were playing West Hamsters (ok London ish) and the score was 1-2.... ?
