Recommend you find Tamzin Outhwaite on BBC iPlayer researching her Italian roots.  Barga- the most Scottish town in Italy - apparently Very Happy

Yes, it is, Perlasca. Many people from Barga migrated to Scotland and they maintain very solid links. Barga is a beautiful town.
