Brugmansias
Hello. Does anyone grow Brugmansias and take cuttings that they would be willing to sell- or know a reputable supplier of healthy specimens in Italy please?
Thank you
Thank you

No, but many thanks for identifying a beautiful flower we have seen there and admire so much. Hope you get an answer as we would love one (or more)!

Re: Brugmansias
Datura (a weed) and Brugmansias are quite different. Datura being historically and even today sometimes used as an hallucinogen for recreation purposes you understand.
Lots of desired and cultivated plants are considered poisonous e.g Oleander, laburnum, wisteria, foxglove, hydrangea and so on...
But, anyone with common sense is not going to wander around the garden munching on ornamental plants are they?
Brugmansias are beautiful and safe as long as not consumed-just like the polystyrene packaging that your ready meal comes in

Ah yes but our grandsons don't have that common sense yet! Mind you we do have large numbers of oleanders already! Looking at the RHS I like them even more, however they also advise that all parts are highly toxic....

Re: Brugmansias
Maybe best logitech to go see your local plant seller and ask him to get you some. No doubt there will be alot of oohing and ahhing as to the suitability of growing brugmansias, but as you are the customer I am sure the plant seller will source them for you......

Thanks Gala for the link. I've spent ages online but this link has never cropped up for me.
Will have to spend some time in the company of Google translate.
