As long as UKIP gets a good beating, I don't mind.  Farage is forever moaning about East Europeans coming to the UK and acting as a drain on the NHS and that the UK needs to get out of the EU.  Nobody has raised the issue of what Spain's 300,000 UK pensioners (plus maybe 200,000 elsewhere in the EU) will do if they suddenly find themselves unable to access  EU healthcare systems.  They will have no choice but to return to the UK permanently for their treatment.  I don't see the NHS handling this influx.

If you have the right to Italian citizenship, I suggest you sort your papers out sharpish... otherwise theres a strong chance you will be an undesirable alien within 5 years.  What a very depressing morning....

I would say I'd eat my underpants if the UK (if that survives) leave the EU, but there is already a few guys having to eat clothes, so I'll not take that risk! Talk seems to be Cameron is already looking at ways to squirm out of a referendum, but I suspect he won't be able to do so.... In which case he will do anything to make sure it goes his way. He's giving himself 18 months to show his worth and then say "back me again", trouble with that is that things may get a lot worse for him before then... Good news (well minor) that the pound has miraculously bounced back overnight.

He'll set the referendum date and then hand over to Boris.  Its going to get very ugly.
