Web hosting suggestions anybody?

I've been working on reissuing my website using WYSIWYG web builder and now I need a Web host.  I know lots of you will be way ahead of me on this stuff and wondered if you have any strong feelings on a good web host company.

I have written my own websites the hard way (very time-consuming) and using Dreamweaver and now I'm using www.moonfruit.com which I have to say is pretty fantastic. It's not perfect and I can't do 100% of everything you can in something like Dreamweaver but I am super-impressed with how ace it looks and how quick it was to do. It is also free. I paid to have several sites, ads removed etc but even then it was comparable with the cost of hosting a site.

quite honestly i don't have the tec-spec knowledge ro ensure that our web site can be always up and running -can be modified whenever necessary reasonably protected etc we found a good efficient host company in Piane di falerone.
we have been with them for some time now there is a fairly modest charge paid annually and have had no problems with them and they are here rather than far away if necessary.the company is called inmagine - they seem to have quite a respectable client base.the guy in charge is called Giulio Maccari.you could do worse.feel free to use our name should you contact them we're contradadurano.

We have used GoDaddy for many years now, firstly for the site and hosting also they have a very easy website builder. Also if you get stuck, their Customer Service dept are excellent.

Ive always used NetFusion/netObjects for web building, and hosted on 1and1, now use 1aqnd1 to host wordpress sites too.
I choose to not host sites in Italy - therefore avoiding ridiculous Italian laws, so even though you write and post in Italy, you fall under other countries' law for the hosting - it does mean if someone takes exception to something someone writes you cant be got under stupid Italian libel laws!

All much appreciated.  I'm finally getting off the mark with the free hosted simple Wordpress which will suit the mixture of Web site and Blog that I need for all the heaty stuff. It seems that Wordpress has gained huge market share lately with hosts making sure they can accomodate it.... it needs to be hosted if it gets more complicated/bigger.

Sagrisolar, if you are thinking of a Wordpress Site, have a look at these people Wealthy Affiliate (a freind of mine uses them for his Blog/website) they seem to specialise in this type of scenario and offer oodles of help and it is free.
