Jokes about Italians

As someone growing up in post-war Britain, I heard more than my fair share of jokes about Italians - almost all related to Italy's role in the Second World War, about the gears on Italian tanks, book of war heroes, rifles etc.  However, I did hear one a few years ago which is quite amusing and, though stereotypical, not maliciously so:

In Milan, traffic lights are an instruction, in Rome a suggestion and in Naples a Christmas decoration.

Now that did make me laugh.

I hate jokes as they are always at someone's  expense, but that was so funny...    

However MD may not think so... Naples indeed!!!

Madam currently couldn't give a Neapolitan toss at this time - she is preparing for a funeral.

Nice one Neil D, I heard a very similar one about zebra crossings.

I'm all for a bit of humour, no-one should take offence, they're JOKES ..........especially on dark, wet, cold days like this !!

Pretty funny. As an Italian I am more used to making jokes about other nationalities, not Italian!=)
