PM Not Functioning Correctly?

Has anyone been having a problem with e-mailing other members recently?  I sent several people e-mails but even though they said that they were sent at the time I clicked on the "send" button, they do not show up in my sent box, nor have I received replies from those I e-mailed.  I tried e-mailing one member several times today but the messages keep showing in the "outbox."

... well I'm sure Admin will agree this forum software is not the best in the world. However the few times I've used it, I've never had a problem with the PM facility. Mine shows 28% full and to my knowledge has not been used a lot, so I guess space is an issue...
Saying that about the software, I know it would not be easy to change (Admin had said it was being looked at), as to do so may involve those issues Abruzzolutely recently encountered, having to re-register and loss of information there is on this forum base... But not least it's a lot of work!!! Thanks Admin...

I have gotten some now but when I check sent versus outbox, a message I wanted to send to someone is still sitting in outbox even though it said it had been sent.  It does not show in the send box.  Oh well...  Will try again tomorrow.

I would hazard a guess that they stay in the outbox either until the recipient logs on or is read by them - Admin

I'll have to check. I wonder if the recipient's inbox is full. I'd have hoped for a message though.

Sorry Admin I did mean to add that one of the few PM's I've sent is sitting in the outbox when I checked, following Lisa's last post, the person it was sent to has not logged on since it was sent...

I still have the same 3 messages sitting in the Outbox but perhaps the recipient hasn't checked his e-mails.  I did not get any such notification, though, that his box was full.
