car hire in Parma

I dont know if anyone can help. A friend of mine visiting Lunigiana in August recently booked flights to Parma as they were the cheapest she could find. When she looked for car hire however there only seems to be Hertz at the airport and they are expensive for 2 weeks. Does anyone know if there are cheaper options elsewhere in Parma, worth taking a taxi to? I've looked on the internet but cant find anything or at least nowhere that says they are open on Saturdays. It's certainly a thing to think about when booking cheap flights. You just assume there will be a choice of car hire.

someone didn't look too hard then, at least 3 different companies here.

I've just done as you suggested flip but it's still coming up with just hertz at the airport and nothing in Parma. Maybe they are all closed on Saturdays in August. Can you tell me what the other companies are?
