Re: The Weather
Friday is supposed to be a nice day!!! Getting fed up with mowing the grass as growing like mad after each rainy day.Perlasca wrote:Is it EVER going to stop raining in Le Marche??
Re: The Weather
If it makes you feel any better it hasn't stopped raining in Liguria either and it's not particularly warm either. It's been a very grey winter and Spring. I think alledgedly it's supposed to be summer now!

Re: The Weather
Wonderful weather today, even if it is a bit colder than normal. Had a great lunch on the beach at Numana ( a beautiful place) and got the use of a couple of beach lounges and umbrella for a couple of hours. The people were so kind that even doggy was allowed on the beach. It was superb! Hubby even went to swim, even if the water was a bit cold for my taste. A glorious day!

Blimey
Yes the dampest, most miserable grey winter/spring we have known if 6 years.
Gala, Numana is a really beautiful place PARTICULARLY in the summer when the (cascading) streets are full of flowers....................really really good.

Re: The Weather
I found the town particularly beautiful and the lovely houses very well kept and decorated. It was a glorious, sunny day. Great for a change!

Re: The Weather
First day in June and temperature here @ 10.00 am was under 13C, plus it has been raining most of the day so far. Forecast not looking so good either.
Re: The Weather
Ok I'm sorry for those coming out on holiday for a few precious weeks break, but being here for months on end we have to look on the bright side. We probably have our best sun tan yet since moving here as we are getting out in the garden more. Still seeing lots of sunshine, it's just not too hot, so we stay out in it all day... We also seem to be seeing lots more of the birds around such as hoopoe's which other years were only here (seen) early spring. We have also seen a Golden Oriole and for the very first time a quail... The down side is the rain which promotes the rapid growth of the weeds and the cool overnight temperatures producing not so rapid growth of the tomatoes, peppers and aubergine, all of which really need a minimum 15c. Still the flowers and fruit trees seem to be loving it. I'm sure we will all be soon far too hot and bothered...

A little tiny window?
We had superb weather for Corpus Christi yesterday, the designs where stunning AND the weather was very accommodating! We were delighted when you look at the effort that goes into it all. In the evening temporali AGAIN all through the night and into this morning, it then eased off and now it's back again! I feel really sorry for anyone who has come out for a holiday. To think in 6 weeks time we'll be too hot?!
It is SUPPOSED to be improving from Thursday, I might just be able to get hacking at the weeds!

Re: The Weather
Was quite lucky, that I managed to get most of the grass cut on Friday and then the rest on Sunday, ( about 4000 sq mtrs) plus a lot of the laurel hedge. Rain and cloud here again now, so a few more bits left to tidy up!!!Vicino wrote:We had superb weather for Corpus Christi yesterday, the designs where stunning AND the weather was very accommodating!
