Re: Another Ryanair story...
Client complaints cannot be "ignored". That's if anyone wants to stay in business. Bad publicity may cost a lot...

Re: Another Ryanair story...
Well.................
Having spent (seriously) about eight hours trying to book flights with this crowd, I finally succeeded. Their booking system (which I had not used for 7 years) must be one of the very worst online experiences I have had. Tick this, untick that, wait, crash, go back the beginning, key it all in again, tick this, untick that, crash, start again !!!!!!!!!!!!
I still have to check-in !!!!!!!!!
Aaaargh !!

Ha... ha... Don't worry it gets easier the more you use it! I can guarantee you won't have found all the quirks yet. Try finding how you avoid their conversion if you book in Euros but want to pay on a UK card... But they are the only airline flying in and out of Abruzzo direct ...

I always thought it was Michael O'Leary's policy to court as much publicity as possible (paying to use the toilet, having standing passengers etc) irrespective of whether it was good or bad.Gala Placidia wrote:Bad publicity may cost a lot...

Perhaps this is his "style" and it seems to work for him. Or perhaps there is not another choice...

Re: Another Ryanair story...
Unfortunately Gala I think you're right; as for many the only airport which may serve some peoples areas are only flown to by Ryanair so it 's a case of put up or shut up.

Re: Another Ryanair story...
Right, Flip, this is why they can do whatever they want and this is also the reason why I keep on recommending prospective buyers in Italy to check the availability of transport to the chosen area that does not depend on the whims of a sole carrier. What may appear to be a bargain can become a very expensive exercise.
