How to get all communications from Agenzia delle Entrate & Equitalia digitally

Hello, 

I would really like to receive all communications from both Agenzia delle Entrate and Equitalia (payments, cartelle, reminders, etc) digitally. In this case I dont depend on my very old father in Italy who doesnt always forward me all the letters that are being sent to him, and therefore it happens a lot that the 'scadenza' passes and we get high fines..

Do you know if this is possible? I read about PEC, do I understand it correctly that its possible to get all communications through PEC? And if so, in which way do I let Agenzia delle Entrate and Equitalia know what my PEC address is?
