Interesting article ''Nanny State'' or have they got it right?

This is probably a follow on from the case of a child recently who got taken to hospital severely malnurished after the parents fed it a vegan diet.

I don't think we should impose our eating fads/preferences on children fullstop. They have enough of their own without our hang ups too!

Perhaps it has become a necessity because of the reckless behavior of certain parents. We have all heard of cases where children had been fed extreme vegan diets, celiac diets without proper testing, or where parents have refused to vaccinate children based on absurd claims... The children's health and welfare are absolute priorities.
