Has anyone seen it for sale here ?  I was wondering if the Asian shop Tolentino sells it.  Geo or V do you know ?

Not noticed it, but haven't actually been looking, will do now ! In Oasi (Girasole)yesterday and they had quite a selection of 'ethnic' products if you are passing that way?

Yes Angie Asian shop did have it, although I have not looked for it recently.
It was, as you go to the left inside, around the bottom shelf below where all the different teas are kept.

You should be able to find it in most large supermarkets, Esselunga, Coop, Conad, Lidl etc usually in the section that sells Chinese, Indian & Mexican ingredients, or any good Health Food Store.

Tahini Empty Ever tried making it ?

Take 1 cup of sesame seeds (which are easily available in Italian supermarkets) and toast/dry fry for around 5 mins until lightly coloured. Leave to cool, and then grind.  Place in a food processor and add 2 tablespoons of light olive oil/grapeseed oil/sesame oil - whatever you can get hold of and process for 1-2 minutes.  Add a little salt .  And there you have it.  Pretty easy.

Thank  you Geo, Flip and Clombardelli.  I will definately try and make some myself and call into the Asian shop to buy some when next Tolentino way.

I have been told the Bio shop in Servigliano stocks it too so will go and see today as closer than Lidls, no Esselunga. Coop or Conad nearby Flip.
