If anyone is interest in the Ashes series, and wants to watch it live, then it is being streamed on Youtube.

Thanks Geotherm.  OH tells me that he has a VPN in South Kensington so can watch it on Sky Go while in Italia.

I understand that Ian Bell (of England) has done very well and scored 105 runs - whatever that may mean! Embarassed

Another great day in Italia. Smile

OH (who is now very much better and has therefore earned a stay of execution for the time being) has been celebrating with copious quantities of vino rosso England taking an unbeatable 3-0 lead in the Ashes series.  He is now snoring away contentedly having previously told me that, apparently, someone from the Norfolk Broads (as I thought he said) had bowled very well.

Meanwhile I'm off to spot the Perseids.  As recommended I have my chair and my mandatory 2 glasses of prosecco.  Not a single shooting star seen last night but I'm feeling much more hopeful tonight!

I looked but only saw a few before I fell asleep.  Will try again tonight.
