Anyone still using Windows XP - support is gone!

Sure everyone will know about this, but just in case... Telegraph LINK It give a little info on the impact, none if you are not bothered about any new security flaws that are found in it      

As long as the antivirus is up to date, plus the firewall there should be little problems. Most hackers are now more interested in W7/8.
Amazingly though, the UK have just paid Microsoft a few million to keep their systems protected until they migrate from XP. Thought it would have been easier just to update them ............ but they love spending money!!!
Currently running XP on a 2004 laptop and W7 on the desktop.

If you're still running XP then you will have no concerns of a nice Indian Gentleman ringing you up offering to 'fix your problems' with the Operating System now.

I don't know Geo, I worked at the MOD for a while on a contract for their accounting systems and they had Windows modified just for them so I reckon the upgrade would nt be a piece of cake at all.
