Some things I think will never change Ghiro, the Mafia is too entrenched in this Country to be affected by the actions of the Pope. Sadly.

A terrible blow to Pope Francis which shows how entrenched certain customs remain in spite of his efforts. If I were him, I would excommunicate those involved. They do not deserve to be part of the community.

P. S. Flip, I was reading your mind. We both used the word "entrenched" and I had not had a look at your answer before posting mine. It is the right word... unfortunately.

It's good to know that at least one Catholic Bishop, namely Francesco Milito, has got balls!     

I also like what Bishop Gianfranco de Lucca said about the inmates. They must be totally confused, but it is good for them... hopefully.
