Cockerel

Dearly beloved neighbour has installed a new cockerel next-door, so whilst he is sleeping peacefully up in the village we are woken up at 4.30 every morning, ear plugs dont work and after a week of this am becoming very tired. Now there are different schools of thought on this....we chose to live in the countryside vs we are being kept awake......what would the forums take on this be?, before I am forced to take it for "a long walk"....just joking?.

Have mentioned that it is waking us early every morning.....he thinks it is hilarious!

You do get used to the sounds of country. When we first moved here it seemed that all we could hear was the barking of nearby Hunting Dogs. You seem to block it out after a while, though I admit double glazing does wonders...
