Well my email has 'newest first' which always seems sensible to me.

I suppose it depends on whether you're a regular reader (when you'll know already what's been written and therefore don't need to scroll down) or an irregular reader (in which case having the first post at the top will be helpful).

Patience is a virtue I also do not have.  I'm already on the case for you - I started writing a post earlier, but Mamma wagged her finger and told me that I had to go and see her.

Just seen this topic, and that Miss Demeanor is the moderator, so I only wanted to say I posted a request to you (Miss D) under "Lajatico" in the Tuscany topic. Dont know if you can help me but thanks if you look at it.
