Accommodation - B&B/Apartments

Could anyone recommend a good B&B or apartment for my son and his girlfriend? 7 nights, arrive Saturday 21^st September.  They would also like to hire a car.

Sicily is a big place - a day out from one side to another and back.
Are they flying into Catania in the east, or Palermo in the west.
Having said that, I've only done hotel trips in Sicily.

OK - so where do they want to stay?  Siracusa/Taormina/ - or more importantly what do they want to do when they are here?

They have to do Siracusa and the surrounding areas.  Fabulous place.

Oh how I wish I could go back this year....

In Ortigia (Siracusa) there are loads - Algila or Casa del Sale are very popular.  Otherwise depending on budget there is 7 rooms in Noto which is fantastic.  They're spoilt for choice really.  Look on tripadvisor for Vagabondas recommendations.
