Hi guys as we struggle around the 40 mark for members is it about time to go on a membership drive to open up the Forum to new members?

I too found you all from Geotherm's note.
I too hate their new format.
So anyway, I was Neil there, and on Anastasia's forum which I greatly miss.
Seem to be many old names to fight with - though I note everyone is currently quite polite.
Any way, we too are in Tuscany with July 13th as the middle weekend.
How can we get tickets for the Bocelli concert - if there are any left?

Well Neil you can go online to book Bocelli in Pisa, but if you're a Rocker like us get yourself over to Lucca for the Summer Festival we have Leonard Cohen 9th July, Bryan Adams 10th July, Nick Cave 11th July, Thirty Seconds to Mars 13th July and The Killers 17th July, many more like Neil Young, Mark Knopfler, Earth,Wind & Fire.......

SWMBO bought me the video of his London concert for Christmas.

There are still some tickets for Bocelli 13th July, also the dress rehearsal on the 12th July on the buy and sell sites, but these seem to be a lot more expensive than the original tickets. We bought ours in January when the date was announced.
I also fancied the Cohen concert but thought it had sold out almost immediately.

Correction! Mother Superior stays up after Vespers as she has to recite the Compline! She has to pray a lot so that we do not end up having another case of the Sicilian Vespers and Paradise Lost. So you can have fun within reason and do not bring hatchets, knives and assorted weaponry, as you can hurt yourselves. Naughty children!

As an old Irish nun I knew used to say "You are bold as brass". No problems, I carry my nitroglycerine pills with me, just in case.

I think that this is quite normal. Out of the 3500+ members of the old forum, I would say that the large majority never posted, not even to say "hello".
